Nurses Protest in Lahore For increment in Salary: Nurses protested for increment in their salaries after the doctors salaries increased by Punjab Government. They came to Press Club and marched to Mall road violating the section 144 applied there.
Nurses said that Punjab government promised to increase their salaries like doctors but did not complete the commitment.
There were lots of little fights between Lady Police Wardons and the nurses. They even didnt give way to Rescue 1122 which was awful and pity. On this , the traders of Mall Road also gathered and threw eggs and started beating the nurses with the sticks.

Shaukat Basra met the nurses and promised to raise the issue in the
assembly. Special Secretary Health Mohammed Daud also met with the
protesting nurses but the talks failed.
